Apple has released the iOS 9 BETA 1 for the developer community a few days ago and the developers already found some nice interesting features that iOS 9 comes with.

However, in case you are a developer and you’ve decided to install the iOS 9 BETA 1 to take a first look over the features, then we’re pretty sure that you’re already “tired” of how many bugs this new iOS 9 BETA version comes with. There are some serious issues related to the battery life, which will most likely make you downgrade back to iOS 8.3.

Well, today we’re going to explain you how you can downgrade from iOS 9 BETA 1 back to the iOS 8.3, which is the latest stable version of the iOS 8.

Downgrading from iOS 9 BETA 1 to iOS 8.3

First of all, you will need to create a backup of your iOS 9 device on iTunes. After that, you will need to disable the “Find MY iPhone” security feature from the iCloud section. Now, download the iOS 8.3 firmware for your iPod, iPad or iPhone device. Once the download finishes, connect the device to your desktop PC/Mac and open iTunes.

You will need to put your device into Device Firmware Mode (DFU) by pressing the power and home buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds and, after that, release the power button and continue pressing the home button. iTunes will let you know when the device is in DFU mode.

Once you are in DFU mode, you will need to tap on the “Restore iPhone/iPod/iPad” button and follow the on-screen prompts to successfully restore the device.

In case you want to install the iOS 9 on your iPhone device, but you’re not a developer, then you should know that Apple is planning to release a public beta of iOS 9 sometime in July 2015. By then, most of the current bugs that are found on iOS 9 BETA 1 will be fixed and the new OS will most likely run pretty smoothly.

Are you going to install the iOS 9 BETA on your device once it gets public? Did you test iOS 9 BETA 1 on your iPhone yet?
